I am dedicated to helping women, adolescents, children, and families take the next step in healing from the effects of living in a fallen world. We often limp along with hearts unmet and wounded, without stopping to care for our souls. When anxiety, depression, addictions and broken relationships occur, we are seeing the fruit of unmet heart needs and trauma. My goal in counseling is to help you understand the needs of your heart. In counseling you will receive the tools you need to take care of yourself in healthy ways. I believe that true healing is possible through the restoration of your identity and relationship with God and that restoration in turn leads people to true, healthy relationships with others.

  • Biblical Counseling

“Biblical Counseling is the process of dealing with human suffering in the context of God as Creator, Designer, Savior, and Enabler. The counselee is introduced to the richness of God’s life design and the power of the Holy Spirit to enable him to live in sync with this design thereby being able to glorify God and enjoy Him and life in the midst of living in a broken world.” Howard Eyrich

As a Biblical Counselor, I believe that God knows our hearts and that through the application and guidance of His Word, our lives can be transformed and healed. That being said, I also believe that God has given people common grace. This common grace has enabled people to discover how our brains and bodies function and heal. There are many very effective tools that people have discovered that help in healing our brokenness. Therefore, it is my belief that good biblical counseling uses the Word of God as the basis of healing, while bringing in proven counseling techniques.

Temperament Counseling will help you understand yourself and those around you. The APS Assessment is a tool used to determine your God Given Temperament. These profiles are given for the sole purpose of helping you better understand yourself and to determine your individual needs. When your needs are not being met, it will cause stress and anxiety. Other possible symptoms include: depression, dissatisfaction, loneliness, fear, frustration, anger, marriage and family problems, poor work performance, exhaustion and inter/intra personal conflicts.

APS Assessment ADULT Counseling is 2 sessions- the cost is $120.00 for both including the assessment test.
